You may even return to us later down the road for smaller events like birthdays, sweet sixteens, or graduation parties in our banquet hall or other spaces!

Wedding Planning
With almost two and a half million weddings performed in the United States every year, it can often be a struggle to find the right venue if you’re having it during peak wedding season (like June, which accounts for about 15% of all weddings). It’s generally advisable for couples to book their wedding reception venue, whether it’s a banquet hall or ballroom, as soon as possible after the engagement, to make sure they can lock it in. The lead time should usually be about a year to nine months before the wedding date.

In 2014, there was an average of 136 guests invited to a couple’s wedding, so you need a space big enough to fit your guests, a dance floor, tables and chairs for seating and dining, and a bar. Given that over half of weddings happen in the afternoon, finding a place that can help cater or serve a meal in the evening during the reception can help combine a variety of moving pieces.

Practicality aside, you want a place that reflects your personality. Around 40% of couples look for unusual or quirky venues that suit their personality.

Why Should You Choose Our Venue?
We’re a family owned company that’s been around for over 40 years, so we want you to be treated like family. We want you to have your special day — but to come back for other important moments of your life. Whether it’s a sweet sixteen in our banquet hall or a retirement party, we want to be with you for the special times in your life.

We have two freestanding facilities with six ballrooms, which means that you can have a smaller, more intimate group, or a larger reception with as many as 500 guests. Our master chefs are Graduates of Johnson and Whales University and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Schools, so we can promise you a delicious, customized meal that you and your wedding guests will never forget. If you’re anxious about planning your wedding, our event specialists will be available whenever you need them to walk you through the process.

If you want your wedding and your reception to be at the same location, we have both an indoor and an outdoor chapel to have an on-site ceremony. We can rent you event furniture and chair rentals in a variety of colors and styles and have lighting packages to help give your wedding a pop of color and provide mood lighting.

Need a wedding photographer or want a fun aspect like a photobooth at your wedding? Not a problem. We can offer both things, as well as videos, for memories you’ll look back on fondly year after year.

We can even offer you entertainment options — if you’ve dreamed of an orchestra or string quartet, we can provide that. Want a DJ? We have one in -house. We have a floral design team that can take care of flowers and arrangements and custom boutique cakes for your dream wedding cake.

In short, we have it all here at Renaissance Ballrooms. When it comes to a Miami wedding venue, we want to be at the top of your list. We’re not just one of those places to have a wedding — we promise to make it an unforgettable experience.
